Practice History

The practice originates from 1913 when Dr H Dimock was appointed as a "panel" doctor.

Dr Kennedy became a partner in 1949 and in 1961 the practice moved to 27 Old Market from the Chapel Road premises. Dr Elliot joined the practice in 1950, Dr Cookson in 1964, Dr Hornett in 1970 and Dr Andrew in 1975. In 1980 the practice amalgamated with the Museum Square Practice, Dr Ross became a partner and Dr Williams shortly after.

In 1983 the practice moved to the present purpose-built premises. A wide range of clinics and services is provided and there is ample car parking.
